Today I’m sharing two projects with you that I have been keeping under wraps for quite some time, so it feels great to finally show them off and add them to my portfolio. I think you might even recognize one of these clients from a certain movie or TV series…. Enjoy!
To say I was excited to work with Rachelle Leferve on a brand new design for her brand new blog would be the understatement of the year. If you’re a fan of Under the Dome or the Twilight Saga, you probably recognize this redhead beauty- and she truly has a personality to match! Rachelle and I worked closely together to convey many of her ideas through the new design- we focused on keeping it clean and adding in that feeling of a french linen napkin, so fun! I think we are both pretty pleased with the final outcome. :D
And just because I’m a fan, I decided to add a couple of photos of Rachelle below at her finest :) Be sure to stop by her lovely new blog and take a look at the design and her food-inspiring posts!
This project is another one that I have been very eager to launch and it’s finally time to show it off. The amazing lady behind Nordic Beauty, Mette Risdal, contacted me for a minimal redesign for her website Nordic Beauty. The goal was to create a lovely, clutter-free home to showcase and sell her all natural skincare products. Yep, all natural. I loved this project from the start because I could definitely resonate with the feeling and look she was going for. We customized woocommerce to handle the selling end of the products, and I got busy creating a design using mostly blacks and whites. The final design is nothing short of awesome, as well as the products. More on that below ;)
If you’re looking for new skincare products, you pretty much need to look no further. I have been using Philosophy’s Hope in a Jar for the past year or so, but the Nordic Beauty products have honestly put them all to shame. I have dry skin, and this line has made my skin smoother than ever before. I have the Collagen Peptide Serum, Youth Collagen Peptide Cream, and Cleansing Milk, and if I had to choose a favorite it would be the serum. Expensive, yes, but the results I am seeing after a relatively short term use is wonderful. If you are in the market for all natural, top notch skin care products, be sure to check out Nordic Beauty!
